Harvested between the 26th of September and 20th of October, the grapes locked inside this Margaux display glamor and deliciousness. The Chateau Siran 2016 is a blend of 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot, 9% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc. Here we have what is undoubtedly one of Siran's most beautiful wines ever vinified.
"Very attractive, plush and rich red and dark-fruit aromas with beautifully integrated oak and youthful, spicy complexity. The palate has lush, seamless and velvety tannins that are elegant yet powerful and deliver a silky build of ripe dark-berry flavors into a long, seamless finish. Greatest Siran ever!"
96 points - James Suckling, Jan 2019
The nose is vibrant with fresh, intense and crisp fruits. This is a ball of fruit, with a superb nose of intense crushed raspberry fragrances, accents of black cherry and fresh licorice. With its frank and precise attack, the palate of the Chateau Siran 2016 gives way to a tannic structure of great finesse, elegant, creamy, juicy and very fruity in its retro-olfaction. The wine is long and delicious with great precision. What a success!
